We are Andy, Jolien, Rorik, Mara and Torak . We welcome you to Lyssenthoek farm. Our passion is camping and that is why we started our own campsite.
We live on a beautiful farm in Poperinge, located between the coast, Ypres, Heuvelland and one kilometer from the French border.
Our name refers to the British military cemetery Lijssenthoek which is a few hundred meters from our door with its beautiful visitor center. (see tourism)
Our campsite is officially open from June 1, 2020. Everything is brand new. It is cozy and small-scale with 11 pitches and a tent meadow. The camping pitches are approx. 90m², each with water and electricity supply (10 amp). Some pitches have shade. The tent area also has electricity (6 amp).
We are eagerly awaiting your story. We will be happy to assist you to explore the region. In addition, we are very child-friendly. In the sanitary room there is a place for the little ones, with a changing table and bath. There are also many toys available on the campsite, including a swing, slide, playhouse, sandpit, trampoline, seesaw. There is also a playground and courtyard with bicycles and tractor.
Animal lovers will certainly get their money's worth at our mini-farm. Discover together with the children which feed the animals need and help us! Horseback riding and carriage rides are also offered.
There are also fun things to do in our relaxation room with tap billiards, darts and ping pong table. There are also some seats with a nice reading corner.
In addition, there is also a possibility to run and dry a laundry. There is also WIFI on the campsite (everywhere!).
We also offer the possibility to rent a tent. This is for a maximum of 6 people (2 sleeping compartments of 3). All furniture is available if desired at additional cost. It also has a large living space of 12m² where you can easily stand up.

You can check in every day from 1 pm to 9 pm (high season). In low season there is no checkin hour. The pets are also welcome with us. We ask for general silence from 10 pm.
